Looking for some ideas
You site is a welcome resource, however, the floor plans are quite elaborate. I live in San Francisco and have seen amazing use of very small spaces. e.g., my apt. is 400 sq.ft. and has a full kitchen and bath. I’ve see some tiny studio apts. with what look like utility closets. You open the doors expecting to see a washer/dryer, but imagine a counter running across about waist high, on the left you might find a half-refrigerator under the counter, on the right are a kitchen drawers and cabinets. On the counter you might have a microwave a built in mini sink and a mini stove top burners, another shelf runs along the top for storage (or you could install cabinets – thus a mini kitchen enclosed in the space of a utility closet, with doors to conceal when not in use.
My brother wants to convert one car space from a 3-car garage to an in-law. The length is 29″ but width in less than 12″. The construction examples I’ve found here are great, but I’m also looking for more solutions and plans like the one I described above to make tiny spaces into comfortable living quarters. I know it can be done, I just cant find plans for what I’ve seen. Perhaps some of your readers know where I should look.
Looking for plans to make a 1 room with bath mother-in-law quarters

We have no plans for that square footage.

Looking for plans to add on the side of my house
I would start by finding an architect or contractor that is qualified for aging in place projects.
